Rural Aid provides the only non government funded counselling program through out regional and rural Australia. Your donations and support help fund this vital service.

For a $50 donation, we will provide a phone counselling session to a farmer with a Counsellor

You can donate $100 for one tank of fuel to help our counsellors cover the hundreds of thousands of km they do each year.

For a $250 donation , it will cover our costs to provide a farmer with a face to face counselling session.

Rural Aid was founded in 2015 to provide a holistic support program to rural Australia. The starting point for the charity was the success of the Buy a Bale campaign, which to date has distributed over $3 million worth of fodder to farmers around Australia. We understand the needs of our primary producers and aim to lend a helping hand when times are tough. With the Buy a Bale program, we know that a whole truckload of hay at once isn’t always helpful, and have committed to providing smaller deliveries more frequently. Recent weather events such as fires and cyclones have meant that there is even more call for our services than ever before. We have a number of programs designed with rebuilding and repairing in mind. These include the Farm Rescue and Weekend Warriors programs, as well as the Farm Army job board where farmers can find help that they need. Funds raised through Rural Aid fundraising campaigns are allocated to all disaster assistance programs offered by Rural Aid. Whilst specific campaigns raise funds for specific events, Rural Aid does from time to time need to redirect funds to provide more efficient support to those affected.

Rural Aid experienced substantial growth between 2017 and 2019. Given this growth, its Board of Directors believe it is important to evaluate the effectiveness of the organisation’s service delivery and stakeholder experience. C7EVEN Communications, an independent, external organisation has been commissioned to undertake this survey. Details provided are for the sole purpose of evaluating and improving our operations, and information will be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
