Manager, Mental Health and Wellbeing
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Mental Health and Wellbeing to join our team. Forming a key part of our operations team reporting to the Operations Manager.
The Manager, Mental Health and Wellbeing will support a national team of counsellors representing Rural Aid and delivering mental health services to farmers and rural communities.
In this role you will develop tailored and robust mental health and wellbeing initiatives, which deliver high levels of engagement and outcomes.

Counsellor and Community Representative
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Counsellor and Community Representative, in the Port Augusta region, to join our team. Forming a key part of our national Mental Health & Wellbeing team, reporting to the Manager, Mental Health & Wellbeing.
The Counsellor and Community Representative will offer counselling support to farmers and farming families, while building trust and rapport, listening to their story and exploring how they are coping at present, assessing their safety and those around them. They will divide their time between providing counselling on site with rural farmers, travelling within rural communities, representing Rural Aid within community events and activities and remote counselling services working from home.
In this role you will collaboratively identify options for further support and facilitate access to relevant resources and referrals, when required.

People and Capability Manager
As a key member of the Leadership team, the People & Capability Manager will lead the delivery of our People & Capability plan in line with Rural Aid’s Strategic Goals.
In this role you will provide a wide range of strategic and operational advice to all members of the organisation. You will manage the end-to-end People cycle overseeing recruitment, onboarding, development, goal setting, performance management and remuneration for our organization of approximately 45 employees.
Reporting to the CEO, this is a unique opportunity to be involved at a strategic level, guiding future strategy and approach for the organization, while delivering solutions hands-on. You will play a key role in our Remuneration, Nomination and Performance Committee which will give you the opportunity to interact with our Board.
