This maternity leave contract provides administrative assistance and support across the range of administrative functions as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

With close supervision, support and guidance:

• Is a point of contact for clients (farmers), donors, sponsors answering, taking calls and redirecting calls and registering farmers;
• Creates, updates and maintains client records using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System;
• Undertaking a range of administrative processes including (cleaning and maintaining kitchens; ensuring office supplies eg stationery are available for use)
• Undertaking donor receipting, banking cash and cheques, mail, office supplies and stationery;
• Providing support, advice and assistance to other Programs and departments (eg Farm Army, Financial Assistance, Disaster Assistance);
• Other administrative tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service role or similar;
• High level verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus;
• Professional phone manner;
• Intermediate level computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite applications (high level of MS Word and Excel) and CRM software;
• Strong team player
• Working with Children Check
