About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager is a newly created role within Rural Aid’s Fundraising, Marketing and Communication (FMC) team. The purpose of the role is to deliver Rural Aid’s digital marketing strategy which will help to strengthen our brand, grow the Rural Aid supporter base and deliver maximum donations to support Rural Aid’s registered farmers.

In this role you will collaborate with the FMC Manager and team of specialists (CRM Officer and Media and Communication Officer) to integrate Rural Aid marketing and communication strategies through all digital assets – website, social media channels and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

You will manage the supporter lifecycle from acquisition to retention, maximizing a positive user experience and engagement with key stakeholder groups.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of key aspects of our marketing channels including website performance and management, SEO and SEM, social media and digital insights.

You will play a key role in providing data analytics, insights and reporting to support the wider organisation.

About you

You will have proven experience in delivery of digital marketing strategies and plans, utilising and integrating websites, social media channels and email marketing. You will have experience working with CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.

You pride yourself on sourcing, creating and sharing compelling content through digital channels to drive supporter engagement.

We’d love it if you had some experience in fundraising and/or lottery sectors where you have developed and run successful peer to peer campaigns, regular giving programs and appeals through matched giving or giving days.

You will have developed programs to drive acquisition to retention with a focus on growth, through identifying relevant customer segments and building effective customer journeys.

You are an expert when it comes to working with systems like Microsoft suite, Meta/Facebook Ads Manager, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Canva and WordPress. You will also have experience in setting up digital tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels and others.
