The Spirit of the Bush Photography competition
is back for 2025!

Rural Aid’s Spirit of the Bush photography competition started in 2020 and has been the source of beautiful photos’ of rural Australia, most not seen before.
This year we encourage you to showcase farming and rural life in Australia, help bring the country to the city.

How to Enter:

  1. Enter your high-resolution photograph below
  2. Post a photo to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #SOTB2025 in your caption
  3. Tag @ruralaid in your picture(s)

About the competition

The competition opens at 8am Monday 14th July 2025 (AEST) and closes at 5pm Sunday 31st August 2025 (AEST).

Each entry must be high resolution and by submitting you grant Rural Aid a non-exclusive licence to use this photo on social media, fundraising materails and print media.

Ten photographs will be selected by a panel of judges and each of the ten winners will receive an AUD$250 prepaid visa card.
