Stories of Change

Across rural Australia, small ideas can make a big difference. A gathering place becomes somewhere people feel connected. A forgotten space becomes a place for everyone to enjoy. A community project brings people together, creates local pride and gives people a reason to invest in the future of their town.

Through Rural Aid’s Seed Funding, communities are given the opportunity to turn local ideas into action. The funding helps communities identify what matters to them, bring people together and create projects that strengthen connection, build local capacity and make their towns better places to live, work and grow.

These are the Stories of Change – real examples of what can happen when communities have the confidence, support and opportunity to make change happen themselves. From small projects to lasting community assets, each story shows the difference that local leadership, community spirit and a little seed funding can make.
